Mr Asif Muneer
Mr Asif Muneer is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist with a subspecialist interest in male factor infertility, vasectomy reversal, erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease.
He has an NHS practice at University College London Hospital (UCLH), where is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer.
He runs London Fertility Centre’s specialist male fertility and health clinic, offering comprehensive male fertility investigations, treatment for erectile dysfunction, vasectomy reversals and advanced microTESE sperm retrievals.
Mr Muneer has received a number of awards including a British Urological Foundation award, Ethicon fellowship, Ralph Shackman fellowship and Royal Society of Medicine award. He was also awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Urol) Gold medal.
He has published widely on all aspects of urology with over 100 publications and book chapters. He has edited three textbooks, Viva Practice for the FRCS(Urol), Atlas of Genitourethral Surgery and Textbook of Penile Cancer which was nominated for the BMA medical book award. As well as lecturing to trainee surgeons, Mr Muneer lectures and teaches throughout the UK as well as internationally and is involved in teaching at several surgical Masterclasses and is a course director at the Royal College of Surgeons Core Surgical Skills Course. He regularly reviews for a number of Urology publications and is an assistant editor for a quarterly urology journal.
